Hi, I'm Chelsea Fu

I'm a Product Designer with knowledge in service and system design thinking. Previously, I studied Accessory Designer at Parsons and worked as a Footwear Designer in the fashion retail industry for over 3 years. Although I enjoy building physical products and being part of product development, my curiosity towards design and technology became insurmountable. I wanted to be a part of its rapid growth and revolutionary impact. So I packed my bags, moved from NYC to Italy, and obtained my Master of Science Degree in Product Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano.

Now, I am ready to take on new opportunities and utilize my skills to help build products and services that make a
net-positive impact on society. My favorite part of the design process is seeing the impact of the results that help positively shape people's habits, behaviors, and memories.

Hi, I'm Chelsea Fu.

I'm a Product and Service Designer who recently graduated from Politecnico di Milano, where I obtained my Master of Science Degree in Product Service System Design. While in school, I had the opportunity to study at Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany, and intern at GG-Loop in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Recently, I freelanced for KetoDiet, where I worked with the developer to redesign the app for Android.

Before obtaining my Master's Degree in Milan, I received an undergraduate degree at Parsons School of Design, where I studied Accessory Design. As an Accessory Designer, I worked for Sam Edelman and created footwear products for all 3 of the company's label tiers. Fun fact: before attending Parsons, I was offered a scholarship to play professional volleyball in college, but decided to pursue my passion in design.

As a curious individual, I am actively trying to improve and challenge myself as a designer. I transitioned from Accessory Design to Product and Service Design because I wanted to learn, grow, continue to solve problems, and develop innovative products that have a positive impact on our future. I believe that the design ideology is the same across multiple sectors and mediums. Ultimately, my curiosity led me to seek out different methods, opportunities, and possibilities in this design space.

When I am not working, you can catch me enjoying the great outdoors (hiking, volleyball, snowboarding), walking my dog, and/or challenging myself to learn new skills (currently practicing my Italian).

At the moment, I am...
